After the election, the liberals have been in non-stop mourning since Donald Trump soundly defeated Hillary Clinton. The left has blamed everything and everyone for the loss including the Russians and “Fake News”. In fact, they even blamed Facebook as the reason “fake news” made Hillary Clinton lose.
So, in an attempt to stop the “fakery” Mark Zuckerburg decided to employ the extreme liberal bias “fact-checker”, Snopes. Well, as it turns out Snopes has found itself in some hot water and maybe they are now wishing this was “fake news”.
According to Daily Mail:
One of the websites Facebook is to use to arbitrate on ‘fake news’ is involved in a bitter legal dispute between its co-founders, with its CEO accused of using company money for prostitutes.
Snopes.com will be part of a panel used by Facebook to decide whether stories which users complain about as potentially ‘fake’ should be considered ‘disputed’.
But the website’s own troubles and the intriguing choice of who carries out its ‘fact checks’ are revealed by DailyMail.com, as one of its main contributors is disclosed to be a former sex-blogger who called herself ‘Vice Vixen’.
The husband and wife team Barbara Mikkelson, 57, has accused her former husband, David Mikkelson,56, are locked into bitter financial and corporate dispute which stretches long after their divorce was finalized last year.
In the court filings, Barbara accuses David of ‘raiding the corporate business Bardav bank account for his personal use and attorney fees’ without consulting her. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg of the contentious legal battle.
It seems that David has been a “bad boy” has married his long-time escort Elyssa Young,47, also known as ‘Erin O’Bryn’ who now works for Snopes as an administrative assistant.
While this is all new dirty information comes out it begs the question of how can Snopes be an authority on what is fact and fiction? Snopes administrative assistant has no background in research or writing and she will be in charge of deciding what is “fake” and what is not?
It seems to me that Snopes to back away from this deal now that the real truth about them has been revealed.
What do you think?
