Hillary Clinton’s gun control policy is about taking the choice of firearm ownership away from the people and into the hands of the government. Her aim is to reduce the availability to weapons that she deems “dangerous” and is pushing for “common sense” reform.
We have all heard the talking points and buzzwords surrounding the gun control issue. This year, gun-control groups spent $1.2 million on lobbying our government to in an attempt to reduce crimes that are committed with firearms.
There is only one problem with that. Hillary Clinton isn’t against guns. She’s against YOU having guns and is campaigning to ban certain types of weapons not based on their capabilities or function, but rather based on their looks. This means that the people who are voting on your right to carry a firearm are making their decision based on how “scary” it looks.
Clinton says she wants “common sense” gun reform, but what she really means is that she wants to confuse and twist the issue to play on people’s fear of firearms. Whenever someone points out the fact that she has several armed bodyguards that follow her everywhere? Well then, you’re just a racist gun-lover that wants to see “important” people defenseless.
The National Rifle Association has ingeniously countered Clinton’s “common sense” gun reform with some actual common sense in a short ad that is being shown nation wide.
Team Crowder decided to take to the streets to get the people’s opinion on “common sense” gun control and it seems that the talking points and lies pushed by the left are widely believed. Most people chose to ban the “scary” looking guns over rifles that are extremely more powerful.
Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year — or about 6,850 times a day. In addition to this, three out of five felons all agreed that “a criminal is not going to mess around with a victim he knows is armed with a gun.”
Gun control shouldn’t be decided by people who have wrong and incorrect information.
