United States President, Barrack Obama, has failed once again in a claim by former CIA agent Gary Berntsen. The statement issued this morning reflects on a stance by the president that neglects to label recent attacks in France as terrorist operations. While Obama condemns the attacks, he fails to offer any feasible solutions to address the root problem of these acts of terror.
“This is going to get very, very ugly,” Berntsen said during an interview on Fox & Friends Friday morning following the attacks in Nice. “The president of the United States, as Newt Gingrich has stated, has failed in his responsibilities to defend the United States.”
Obama’s words were unsuccessful in appeasing an American population who are growing tired of his refusal to name those responsible as radical Muslim extremists. Instead his statement on Thursday merely condemns the incursions “in the strongest terms” and offers American assistance to “bring those responsible to justice.”
Dr. Sebastian Gorka, a Fox news commentator, said yesterday what all Americans have been thinking, “What is the president going to do tomorrow? Is he going to ban trucks in America? Because that’s what he said after Orlando and San Bernadino.” Gorka was referring to Obama’s previous stance to ban semi-automatic weapons after they were used to massacre Americans.
“We have a political elite in a fantasy land, and we have you, your viewers, your family, my family, living in the world of the caliphate expanding and taking its war to America and our allies”, Gorka stated.
However, President Obama is not the only one who is refusing place the blame on Islamic anti-American groups. Hillary Clinton, the democratic presidential nominee in this year’s election, has also refused to use the term “radical muslim”. Following the attacks in France that left 128 dead last year, she issued this statement on Twitter.
"Let’s be clear: Islam is not our adversary. Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism."

Obama has claimed many times that we are winning the war against terrorism and the Islamic state group known as ISIS. The attacks yesterday has shown that this is in fact not the case. While Muslim extremists continue to rampage across Europe, it is only a matter of time before we see those same circumstances here in America. I echo the words of Donald Trump who has cited Obama’s failure to use the specific phrases naming the true perpetrators of these crimes, “There’s something going on. It’s inconceivable. There’s something going on.”
