Americans on both sides of it are getting very fed up with the racist double standards and accusations being thrown around. Recently, American Idol runner-up, Bo Bice, was the recipient of a verbal attack by two Popeye’s employees at one of the chain’s restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Bice told Fox 5, “The three ladies behind the counter asked whose food it was. Just when I turned around, one of them said ‘that white boy.’”
“If tables had been turned and I used something as insensitive like that… I would be boycotted, people wouldn’t buy my albums.”
Too many people are turning a blind eye to the ridiculous double standards in this country that have swelled to colossal proportions in the past 8 years, and it’s time someone stands up and says enough is enough. Racism shouldn’t exist at all from either end of the spectrum. If you allow one person to act in a foul manner but scream if someone else does it you are a hypocrite.
The need to be politically correct so that riots don’t start is part of the problem! The black community and liberal media needs to stop attacking white people and then freak out when they are called out on it.
To add insult to injury, when Bice turned to his social media account to vent his opinion about the incident Facebook decided to delete the post.

The corporation finally released a statement, but their generic response is not going to end the problem.
“Mack II Inc. is very sorry that the incident occurred and for any pain or embarrassment that Mr. Bice experienced. The company does not condone the behavior of one of our associates and we took corrective action as soon as we were made aware of the incident. Also, we will require re-training of our associates to ensure this isolated incident does not occur again. In addition, Mr. Bice has been issued an apology by the General Manager. We value all of our customers regardless of race, religion, age, disability, gender, etc.”
Thankfully, though the employee was fired, but as we know that does not end the issue.
