While it is true that all businesses have a right to refuse service to anyone, many are taking it too far and it seems that the only ones that punished for it are the ones that are conservative and refusing service based on strongly held religious beliefs while the liberal-owned establishments are allowed to treat people like complete trash and be praised as some kind of heroes of activism.
Donald Trump supporters are being targeted for their political views in Honolulu at a restaurant called Café 8 ½ where a sign was placed on the doors that reads…
“If you voted for Trump you cannot eat here! No Nazis.”
The restaurant used to get rave reviews on Yelp for its “Radiatore Verde” and “Italian stir fry,” among other popular dishes at the eclectic mom-and-pop restaurant, but the recent responses to its new ‘policy’ barring pro-Trump patrons has been decidedly more mixed.
The bright yellow sign is also proudly posted on the café’s Facebook page, and was “liked” by some 40 people. Do you remember when a gay couple sued a Christian bakery who refused to bake them a cake because of their religious beliefs?
That Oregon bakery has been forced to close down after losing a legal battle brought by a lesbian couple who sued them for refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding because of their Christian beliefs. The decision to close the bakery was announced on the Sweet Cakes Facebook page: “We have closed Sweet Cakes. We appreciate everyone’s continued prayer and support.” Aaron and Melissa Klein still face a hefty $135,000 fine, which they plan to appeal.
It is an epically upside down word we live in, that’s for sure. Watch this video and you will see just how little sense the owner of the restaurant has. It’s almost mind-boggling.
