Security at our airports, quite frankly, sucks. If it isn’t TSA continually screwing things up such as security breaches and physically molesting us, then it is the entire hiring process of security personnel.
CNN did an investigation into security at our airports and found out something very very alarming. Their procedures for hiring are highly flawed and putting every traveler at risk.
Meet Yusuf Abdi Ali. Ali is from Somalia.
Yusuf Abdi Ali is such a lovely lad. I kid. Ali was born and raised in Somalia. He was a military commander during Somalia’s brutal civil war which took place in the 80’s. As any war, it was not pretty nor peaceful. However, Ali holds such a special place in that war as a military commander. This piece of shit was involved in brutal and deadly attacks against innocent people in Somalia. He is being accused of torturing members of the Isaaq clan, conducting mass executions and burning down entire villages. He even brought out an entire school of children to witness executions.
A witness claimed that Ali,
“He tied (my brother) to military vehicle and dragged him behind. He said to us if you’ve got enough power, get him back,” the villager said. “He shredded him into pieces. That’s how he died.”
So what is the point? Yusuf Abdi Ali fled Somali and is wanted on these atrocious war crimes he committed. He found his way into the United States 20 years ago and lives a comfortable life in the Washington, D.C. suburbs with his wife.
He also is employed at Dulles Airport via a security firmed called Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), as a security guard. Dulles Airport had no idea who this man was because they relied on MWAA to do a thorough background check. When CNN informed them, he was promptly put on administrative leave.
Apparently Ali passed a “federally mandated vetting process, including FBI background checks and a TSA assessment”, according to CNN investigations. Not only did multiple agencies fail to uncover who Colonel Yusuf Abdi Ali (nicknamed “Tukeh”) is with their ‘background checks’, they also had no idea he has a pending civil suit (click to read more), started in 2006, against him by a human rights group. The suit is on it’s way to the Supreme Court.
“He oversaw some of the most incredible violence that you can imagine,” said Kathy Roberts, an attorney for the Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA), which is leading the civil suit. “He tortured people personally; he oversaw torture.”
ALARMING: CNN Investigations further reported that there are more than 1,000 accused war criminals living and working in the United States.
Meanwhile, Obama et al., want to bring in thousands upon thousands of ‘refugees’ and promise they will be thoroughly vetted. They could not vet a war criminal who is working security at one of the country’s busiest airports!! There is 1000% no way they can vet these refugees who are not only here now, but more to arrive. What do you think the incoming POTUS will do?
Do you feel any more secure flying?
