As the hysteria continues across the nation with the whole transgender bathroom saga, the state of Texas is chiming in with their thoughts, with municipalities across the state taking the bull by the horns, and setting their own laws regarding the issue.
From Dallas Morning News:
The city of Rockwall is stepping into the national debate over restrooms.
An ordinance that would require people to use public bathrooms based on their biological sex will go before the City Council on Monday.
Mayor Jim Pruitt submitted the ordinance, which defines biological sex as the “physical condition of being male or female, which is stated on a person’s birth certificate.”
Anyone with an “outie” caught using the “innie” bathroom (or visa versa) would then get smacked with a misdemeanor, and fined up to $500.
The city council is set to vote Monday. If the majority votes in favor, it will come back for one final vote on May 16.
Thank God someone with common sense is stepping forward to put an end to this nonsense. With 850K registered sex offenders living in the United States currently, if you think that sexual assaults on women and children will not occur by perverts taking advantage of these new policies, you’re out of your freaking mind.
